Hi, again, Vector Dudes & Doodlers!
Once more giving back to the all those Deviant ARTists who use vectors and it's absolutely free, for nothing, gratis.
Costs = zip, zilch, zero, nil, nada.
Download a few more whacky "graphic styles" for Adobe Illustrator CS6 inside one layered native .ai file.
O.K. - just a few notes regarding these styles, a couple of these are really simple and others are a little more complex. I guess that Dandy & Beano should be obvious to anyone from the U.K. who grew up reading these kids comics. Bold colours, but it's real quick and simple to make a black and white version of this style. Dairy Fudge, Pizza Box and Super Fizz are included because I do a lot of work in the FMCG sector, mainly food, confectionery and pharma-med packaging, so that's why they're in here. The other stuff is basically just a bit of fun with a sort of Hot Rod Car/Sci-Fi vibe. Anyhow, edit away to your hearts content, disassemble, re-engineer, re-colour, modify and come up with some cool variations and let's see what you do with them! Oh, yeah! - have a poke around in the background to dig out a couple more design elements that you could maybe use. Please do not simply edit these files and then re-distribute them in order to make money - that's not the spirit!
All the type has been turned to paths, but the names of the fonts that were used in creating the examples are all shown, plus they were all originally styled at a size of 100pt. It gives you an idea of what fonts are going to be suitable for these effects. Some will work better than others and some will be complete screw-ups, but you can use the styles on just about any font or vector shape that you want. Play with 'em - they are all available through the "Graphic Styles" and "Appearance" palettes. Remember to set your AI prefs to "Scale Strokes & Effects" and "Transform Pattern Tiles" so that you can use these styles at whatever size you require.
